Newspapers, Magazines, Letters, Cans, Plastic, Environmental Documents?

The best all-around guide to drop-off recycling throughout Utah is the Recycling Coalition of Utah . If you prefer to call, they also have a recycling answer line at (801) 832-1157.

If you live in Salt Lake City, you have access to residential curbside recycling.
More information about Salt Lake City's program

If you live outside of Salt Lake City, but within Salt Lake County, recycling information is available at the Salt Lake Valley Waste Management Facility, or one can call the recycling hotline (801) 974-6902.

If you live in Ogden, you also have access to curbside recycling.

This site is useful because it also lists recycling drop-off sites.

Park City has a recycling drop-off center.

Please do not bring any newspapers, magazines, archive items, environmental documents, old letters or any other recycling items to the Utah Chapter Office. We DO NOT have access to recycling containers at the office, and staff must take recycling materials home in order to recycle them. We do not have filing space or room for archival materials related to the environmental movement or the Utah Chapter. If you have such materials that you would like to see preserved, we suggest you take them directly to the Special Collections and University Archives Department of the Merrill Library at Utah State University. Their address is Merrill Library, Utah State University, Logan, Utah 84322-3000. Their phone number is (435) 797-2663.
