Ben Lomond

This unit stretches from North Ogden Pass northwest to the summit of Ben Lomond Peak; together with the Willard unit, it makes up the 20,000-acre Willard roadless area. Access is via the popular Skyline Trail (from North Ogden Pass or Willard Basin) and from the Ben Lomond and Cutler Basin trails that begin in North Fork Park.

Issues affecting this unit include:

• Motorcycle use of the Skyline Trail, and occasional illegal motorcycle use of the Ben Lomond trail.
  

• Trail maintenance.
  

• Hiker access from the south and west.
