Welcome to the Utah Chapter's Politics and Elections main page. The Sierra Club Political Committee is a nonpartisan organization that works to support pro-environmental candidates for elected office. Our efforts range from voter education and grassroots action to candidate endorsements and direct candidate support.

The Sierra Club Political Committee carefully evaluates candidates' voting records, if they're incumbents, and their replies to our candidate questionnaires. We then endorse candidates who have a good to reasonable chance of being elected and who will most strongly protect the environment.
